FEPS 2027 Organisation

The Federation of European Physiological Societies (FEPS) was established on July 2, 1991, at the Regional Meeting of IUPS in Prague, Czech Republic. It now unites 35 Constituent Societies across the region.

FEPS pursues the following aims:

  1. To promote the exchange and diffusion of concepts and information among physiologists and physiological societies in Europe
  2. To facilitate the dissemination of information on member societies’ activities
  3. To encourage joint meetings between two or more member societies
  4. To facilitate the exchange of invitations to national and regional meetings among member societies
  5. To advance physiological science by supporting training programs in the discipline
  6. To promote the exchange of graduate students and scientists within Europe and internationally
  7. To stimulate international scientific research projects across Europe
 

Through these efforts, FEPS serves as a platform for collaboration and scientific advancement within the European physiology community.

FEPS unites physiologists and physiological societies across Europe, fostering the exchange of knowledge, joint meetings, training programs, and international research collaboration; see the federation’s history and aims for further details. The organization warmly invites physiologists throughout the region to take part in its activities and events.

FEPS 2027 is being organised by the Local Organising Committee in partnership with Lyon 1 Université Claude Bernard, the Local Scientific Committee, and FEPS Scientific Committee.
